Exciting new program at Stanton Learning Center…
Socially Powerful Kids: A Social Skill Development Program for Young Children.
Thank you to all of you for making the Stanton Learning Center what it is today! Our best form of advertising is always word of mouth and we appreciate your kind words. We still have space available in all of our classes for this year. We will be beginning our closed enrollment period for the 2016-2017 school year, for children currently enrolled and their families. Closed enrollment will end January 22nd, at which point enrollment will be open to everyone.
Please speak to Andrea if you have any questions and/or would like to set up a day to tour our school. Our Open House will be March 12th, from 10-12am.
The Stanton Learning Center is a licensed, nonprofit organization sponsored by, and located in, the Stanton Reformed Church, Stanton, NJ.
Important note to SLC families and members of the community:
It has always been our policy to limit the public use of our playground to hours when school is not in session, before 7 am and after 6 pm, Monday – Friday. This policy also applies to families previously enrolled at SLC and to those currently enrolled, but whose children have been dismissed for the day.
We would love to keep our gates open all the time, but please understand that this is a liability issue for us. More importantly, the children in our care have to be our priority. In order to ensure our students’ safety and to better keep our eyes on them, we must limit people on the playground during school hours to students and staff only.

We share with the parents the belief that each child is a precious gift of God. Our program is designed to enhance a child’s development by offering a caring atmosphere combined with a structured curriculum. We consider the children entrusted to our care a great responsibility and therefore the individual child’s needs are of utmost importance. It is our belief that children should be offered a caring atmosphere and a structured curriculum that enhances their intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social growth.
