June 26-30: A Little House on the Prairie Life – Campers will be transported back to 19th century America. They will play traditional games, make lanterns, log cabins, sweet treats, design and run their own general store, experience life on the farm and so much more!
July 5-7: Caring Kids – Our goal this week is to inspire kids to care, engage them in social awareness and teach them that everyone has a role in his/her community. Children will make activity boxes and chemo care kits for hospitalized children, placemats for meals on wheels and meet with a special guest. Please note that there is only a 3 day option for this week.
July 10-14: Meet the Jetsons! – Have you ever wondered what life in space would be like? Campers this week will use their imaginations and soar to the future. They will make space food, become robots, and create his /her own jet pack and even “walk on the moon”. Join us for an awesome adventure in space.
July 17-21: The Secret Garden – Children will spend an active week digging, planting and harvesting their way through the garden. Sprinkled with some mystery, magic and few life lessons…this week will create lifelong memories!
July 24-28: Fun with the Flinstones – Travel back in time to the prehistoric era. Children will learn and explore through crafts, games fossil digs, dinosaur hunts and even go on a special “trip” to Bedrock!
July 31- August 4: Adventures with Pipi Longstocking and Friends- Join us for a week of magic, madness and some pirates too! Children will go on a treasure hunt, create his/her own wild stockings, make Pipi’s favorite pancakes, learn how to host a party PiPi style and so much more.
August 7-11: Magic School Bus – Spend a week with Miss Frizzle “riding the SLC Magic School Bus”! Children will spend this week participating in hands-on science. They will take “trips” to impossible locations like clouds, the past, inside the human body and even through a rainbow.
August 14-18: In the Land of Smurfs – Gnomes, fairies and trolls oh my! Children will use their imagination to explore this magical world through stories, music, games and crafts. Campers will make magic bottles, twig gnomes, toad stools and go on a nature scavenger hunt.
Kid’s Night is an event hosted by the Stanton Learning Center and made especially for kids. All of our Kid’s Night are organized and staffed by the Learning Center director and 1-2 other teachers. During each 3 hour event children are served dinner and dessert. They participate in several crafts, watch a movie and play games such as Bingo and Glow in the Dark Freeze Dance.
We host several Kid’s Night’s a year. Our December Kid’s Night is 4 hours to give parents extra time for holiday shopping. December is especially fun…all children are given the opportunity to join our gift workshop where they will choose 2 gifts to make and wrap for the holiday season.
Children do not need to be registered students of the Stanton Learning Center. All are welcome!

PLEASE NOTE: CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE ONE WEEK PRIOR TO EACH EVENT. IF A CANCELLATION IS MADE AFTER THE REQUIRED TIME FRAME FAMILIES ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT. IF YOU HAVE PREPAID A REIMBURSEMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
